About Truth Mason

My goal with Truth Mason is to find and present the truth, whatever it may be. Truth is a controversial issue and there are many degrees of truth; however, ultimately, our society must identify what we consider to be true for the purposes of setting social policies and passing laws. I will make no claim that I know the truth or have arrived at the truth, instead I will make every attempt to discover the truth and account for all evidence presented. If you know something I have said or quoted is inaccurate I welcome all corrections or additional information. I will make every attempt possible to include that new information in my discussions.

Even if I can find and present all of the relevant and accurate facts, any attempt to identify optimal solutions to problems requires making value judgments. I welcome input from my readers in suggesting what values our society should encourage. Not everyone will agree with my values; however, everyone should be able to agree with the facts if presented enough evidence. I will make every attempt to document value judgments that are relevant to a given discussion and let you draw your own conclusions.

About Me

If you are going to take time to read what I have to say then you should know about my background. My name is Daniel Larimer and I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Virginia Tech in 2003. After graduating from Virginia Tech I started a company, Open Tech, Inc, to design and build open technologies based upon open source ideas. Many of those plans never saw the light of day, but Open Tech survived developing open source Virtual Reality software.

All good things take time and time is a precious resource. Ultimately, I would like to work full time uncovering the truth and presenting it on this website.
