• Guilt and Punishment - An interpretation of Biblical Prophesy Today I came across a biblical prophesy that seems to describe what we see going on in our society today. I thought I would post my thoughts in light of the corruption in the financial markets, the crashing housing bubble, our corrupt courts, lying media and dishonest fiat monetary policy.

This article is for christians and non-christians who wish to use the bible to argue for or against Huckabee and Ron Paul with their christian friends.

• Christianity and Politics This article is an effort to see what Jesus had to say about the role of Christians in politics and government. I want to analyze whether or not the "christian right" or the "christian left" really takes the position that Jesus would take. I want to understand if Jesus would have the same objections I have to things such as: the income tax, social security, welfare, government education, property taxes, and the draft. I want to know whether Jesus would support a revolution against the established government and, if so, what forms of revolution are allowable. I did not know where this rabbit hole would lead, but, as a life-long Christian, I was very surprised at what I found.

• The Christian Political Position How can a Christian decide who to vote for or what government programs to support or condemn? This article applies the teachings of Jesus to debunk the most common assumption about the "christian" cause in government; namely, teaching creationism, outlawing pornography, outlawing drugs, preventing gay marriage, and helping the poor and elderly. [This article has been superseded by a new article on Christian Politics. This article still contains my initial thoughts, but is very rough and disorganized.]

• Illegal Regulation by Taxation (or income tax exemption) This article takes an interesting perspective on how Congress can and does abuse its powers of taxation to reglate that which it has no power to regulate! Specifically, income tax "exemptions" are simply a means to regulate or apply preasure on society in ways that the government could not otherwise pass laws.
